(Goodhue, Minn.) November 18, 2021 – At last night’s Associated Builders and Contractors Excellence in Construction (EIC) Awards, Knobelsdorff Enterprises (KE) built upon an already impressive resume, winning three awards for Industrial Construction and one for Specialty Construction.
“It’s another testament to the quality and dedication of the people at Knobelsdorff,” said KE President and CEO Karl von Knobelsdorff. “Everyone here gives everything they have, no matter the job. I’m proud that their hard work is recognized.”
Since the 2020 EIC awards were postponed due to the pandemic, the 2021 award ceremony encompassed two years’ worth of nominations. KE won trophies for two 2021 projects and two 2020 projects:
The Associated Builders and Contractors Awards of Excellence Program have become the premier competition within the construction industry that recognizes outstanding construction projects across the nation. Excellence in Construction is a program that began at the MN/ND Chapter 26 years ago for Minnesota and North Dakota contractors and allows members the ability to compete with contractors across the nation.
KE’s 2021 run of excellence in the eyes of ABC didn’t begin with the Nov. 17 ceremony. The firm had been honored by ABC three times already this year, winning the ABC 2021 MN/ND Diamond Step Award for their dedication to safety, AQC recertification, and the ABC 2021 Top Performing US Construction Company award.
“We aren’t in this business for the awards,” said von Knobelsdorff. “But they are a nice feather in our cap.”
